Buyer FAQ

Short answers to the questions buyers ask most. Ranges are planning references confirmed per order through the RFQ process.

Categories and Selection

What are the main litter box categories?
Automatic self-cleaning units with rake or sift mechanisms, app-controlled smart units, covered and hooded boxes, open-top standard trays, litter box furniture cabinets, and mats and accessories. Each serves a different household pattern, covered in our product guides.
How do I choose capacity for a product line?
Capacity follows the cats, not the box: interior footprint scales with cat size, and cat count scales the number or size of boxes. The sizing guides under the resource center give the reference bands.
Which litter types work in self-cleaning units?
It depends on the mechanism. Rake and sift designs specify compatible litter types and granule sizes; the manual is the operating envelope, and using the specified litter is what the design assumes.

Ordering and Sourcing

What is your MOQ?
Reference ranges in this category run from pilot quantities of roughly 50 to 200 pieces to standard orders of 500 to 2,000 pieces, confirmed per model and color during the RFQ.
How long do sampling and production take?
Sampling commonly runs 10 to 15 business days per round and production 25 to 40 days ex-factory, both confirmed per order; electronics models sit at the longer end.
Do you provide samples?
Yes, in rounds: a first sample, revisions from a written review, and a sealed golden sample. Electronic units are tested on the bench through a written protocol before sign-off.
Can I get my own brand, colors and packaging?
Yes. OEM and ODM programs cover shell color, packaging, manuals and, on smart models, app branding scope. Each customization carries its own minimums, stated in the quote.

Electronics and Certification

What certifications do electronic litter boxes need?
For the EU: CE marking covering EMC and low-voltage directives, plus the radio equipment directive where wireless exists, and RoHS. For the US: FCC rules, with UL-style standards a common voluntary reference. UKCA applies for Great Britain, and California Proposition 65 awareness is a common addition. Certificates are supplied per order rather than claimed site-wide.
Do passive boxes need electronics certification?
No. Covered, open-top and furniture boxes without electronics are material products; the frameworks apply to the powered and wireless models.
How is app branding handled on smart models?
App scope, languages, account model and update policy are defined in the agreement; the product is designed to remain a functional litter box offline.

Logistics and After-Sales

How are such bulky products shipped cost-effectively?
Through cube discipline: nesting or flat-packing trays, protective packing planned with freight, and container loading planned before booking. The freight guide walks the arithmetic.
Can you consolidate multiple models or accessories?
Yes. As a sourcing desk we consolidate boxes with mats, filters and accessories across partner factories into one shipment with shared documentation.
What about warranty and spare parts?
Programs define term, scope, a parts list and a returns route; adapters, filters and mechanical spares are typically stocked. The framework is described in our after-sales guides, and commitments are confirmed per agreement.
