A tech pack turns a product idea into a document a factory can quote and build against. For litter boxes it carries two halves: the molded product and, on smart models, the electronics and app.
Quotes diverge when requests live in prose. A tech pack fixes the product in writing: what is made, from what, to which dimensions, with which behavior, and how success is verified. A litter box tech pack has the same spine as any molded product, plus an electronics half for automatic and app-controlled models. Neither half needs specialized software; a structured document with photos, tables and marked sketches is enough.
| Section | Contents | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Product overview | Category, mechanism, target market, price tier | Scope alignment |
| Technical sketch | Views with dimensions, entry and sill heights, wall layout | Prevents geometry disputes |
| Bill of materials | Resin per part, hardware, liners, filters, colorants | Cost drivers and substitution control |
| Dimension table | Interior footprint, depth, entry, sill, filled weight | The listing chart source |
| Colorway sheet | Codes, finishes per part, approved standards | Shade control across runs |
| Packaging spec | Retail box, inner carton, export carton, marks | Freight and shelf decisions together |
| Manual outline | Setup, litter envelope, cleaning, warnings, languages | Written from behavior, not templates |
Send the pack with the RFQ structured per the RFQ guide. Factories answer complete packs with tighter quotes, because the questions that usually sit between a request and a costed bill of materials are already answered on the page.
Send your mechanism type, capacity and certification need — we match a verified factory and return a consolidated quotation.
